What is positive reinforcement training?
Positive reinforcement dog training, also referred to as force-free, reward-based, or clicker training, is a method that focuses on telling your dog when he is correct, instead of only pointing out what is incorrect. Utilizing this method of training enables your dog to learn what you expect of him and therefore becoming reliable in his behavior all while make your home happy and stress free.
What do I offer and where are classes?
I offer several training options for puppies, adult and senior dogs from puppy skills to adult dog behavior modifications. I offer Private Lessons which are held in the comfort of your home which is an amazing learning environment for your pup. Occasional field trips can be accommodated too based on your dogs needs.

Walk & Train
Does your dog pull while on a leash?
Is your dog constantly distracted on your walks?
Are you feeling frustrated while trying to enjoy walking with your dog?
If you answered YES! to any or all of these questions I can help!
My Walk & Train Program was specifically designed for your very busy life. My top priority with this program is getting your dog to understand that not pulling will yield a higher reward. Utilizing only Positive Reinforcement Training, this customized program will be focused on training your dog to not pull on the leash, focus on YOU! and help him to walk easily by your side.
Walking politely on a leash is hard for most dogs. They pull because they are excited and eager to GO on that walk and quite frankly- they have no idea they are not supposed to pull! Routine and consistent practice is the best way to get your dog to understand what you want from him. My sessions will help you ease the stress of having an over excited dog, help your dog become reliable with his behavior and change your walks from stressful to enjoyable! Details will be provided for you to follow up and practice on your own too. Want to see the action? We can send you pictures of their progress! Just ask!
Contact me with any questions. I am excited to get you both WALKING!
Miss Moo was rescued 2 years ago by her incredible family. Walking Moo was a challenge and not enjoyable for her family. Moo also was also very reactive to her surroundings which we worked on as well. All the hard work, love and time her family has spent with her has made walk time fun and now Moo understands the expectations of having proper manners and her family is absolutely LOVING their walks with Miss Moo! Great job guys!
Duke is a rescue and a walking client. His family has had him for about one year or so. He is a larger dog and is very strong and likes to pull. His loose leash walking/Heel became more reliable because his family worked with him and participated in training before I met.
